Blog Stage Two: Article Introduction

 On Tuesday, February 12, 2019, Fox 7 News published and article titled "Senator Campbell files bill targeting Austin, San Antonio's 'Paid Sick Leave' policies". As the title suggests, this article is about a bill that Texas Senator Donna Campbell filed. Bill 762, called, "the Texas Small Business Protection Act", addresses Austin and San Antonio policies mandating privet employees receive paid sick leave.

The article is a good short read that presents a window into the opinions of each party on how much government should regulate business. The article also provides an insight to how Texas is choosing to regulate business. These are important things to know, especially if you are a small business owner, or planning on starting a small business in Texas. There are two main sides of the argument on "paid sick leave", and this article talks about both; as well as, who are the primary advocates for each side.
